Privacy Policy

LandlordHQ is a product of Marluna Studio LLC ("LandlordHQ," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use LandlordHQ, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or otherwise using LandlordHQ, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up as a landlord, we collect your name, email address, and password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier and email).

Tenant and unit data. LandlordHQ lets you enter information about the properties you manage — including unit addresses, tenant names, contact details, lease terms, rent amounts, maintenance requests, and related documents. You are responsible for this data and for having the appropriate rights to enter it into LandlordHQ.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor — LandlordHQ never stores your card numbers or other full card details on our own servers. Our payment processor shares limited billing metadata with us, such as your plan and payment status, so we can manage your account.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and application data (units, tenants, leases, maintenance records, and documents) is stored in our database hosted on Supabase, which provides encryption in transit and at rest and enforces row-level security so that landlords can only access their own data.

Transactional Email

We use Resend to send transactional email — account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts, and notifications related to your account or your tenants' activity. We do not use these emails for marketing without your consent.

Analytics

We use PostHog to collect product analytics — such as which pages and features are used — so we can understand how LandlordHQ is used and improve it. This data is tied to your account but is not sold or shared with advertisers.

How We Share Information

We share the categories of information above only with the service providers described in this policy, and only to the extent necessary to operate LandlordHQ, plus as required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and application data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email legal@landlordhq.net from the email address on your account. We will verify your request and delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as billing history) for legal or tax purposes.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us. If you are located in a jurisdiction with additional data protection rights (such as the EU/EEA or California), those rights apply to you as provided by applicable law.

Children's Privacy

LandlordHQ is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app before the changes take effect.
